SpartanNash Wild West Show rides into Minneapolis

WONDERFUL-SALESMINNEAPOLIS -- Under a festive Wild West theme, SpartanNash’s annual fresh and general food distribution west expo gathered at the Minneapolis Convention Center Feb. 13-14.

“We service 350 stores out of our three west regions -- St. Cloud, Fargo and Omaha -- and we bring them all in for this show,” Tim Eberle, senior director of produce/floral merchandising at SpartanNash, told The Produce News. “We have 40 produce vendors here representing from A to Z in the produce department; we have all commodities covered. We’re trying to get people excited about different merchandising concepts and give them a view of how they can show things a little differently to generate some sales.”
