SpartanNash hosts Holiday Extravaganza trade show

THE-FRESH-CONNECTIONMINNEAPOLIS – The Holiday Extravaganza trade show for the west division of SpartanNash gathered at the Minneapolis Convention Center Aug. 15-16 with 245 vendors, 900 attendees, and even Mr. Peanut showed up in his 25-foot NUTmobile.

The two-day show highlighted specialty holiday items and pricing in addition to the full line of grocery and general merchandise. “In keeping with the holiday theme, the produce displays were designed to represent a Christmas tree,” Lance Barrett, merchandising manager of events at SpartanNash, told The Produce News. “We’re talking about the holiday season going from Halloween to Thanksgiving to Christmas and going through New Year’s, and all the holidays in between.”
