RCF Distribution building its volume

malurcf RCF Distribution, a leading supplier of Mexican mangos, will be building its volume toward July, according to Malú Crespo, president of the Nogales firm.

On May 14 she indicated to The Produce News, “We are trying to get more volume because the production is coming in low compared last year for June, but we are hoping in July will be pretty much the same volume than last year.”

RCF ships conventional and organic varieties of Ataulfo, baby Ataulfo, Malika, Tommy Atkins, Kent and Keitt mangos.

“We are doing a lot of marketing specifically for our organic mangos in our Crespo Label and RCF label,” she noted.

Crespo said, “with all of this situation with the Covid-19, it has been harder for us. Like for everybody, everything is slow... but we are taking extreme care from the fields abd packing shed in Mexico. It’s the same here in our warehouses in the US with our people.”
