FPFC holds Southern California Golf Tournament

06---REBBL---1More than 165 produce professionals donned sunscreen on a scorching hot day Aug. 21 and teed off in the annual FPFC Southern California Golf Tournament at Tustin Ranch Golf Club.

The team from West Pak Avocado (Chad Miller, Susie Rea, Heath Shoup and Felipe Villa) took home first place honors. Bill Laliberte of WJL Distributors was closest to the pin on two holes, while Justin Whitcomb of Del Monte Fresh Produce and Adam Sides of Rainfield Ranch each recorded closest to the pin scores on the other two Par 3s. Longest drive for men went to Mike Nunez of Sonora Farms, while Jessica Luna of Pablo’s Produce won for the women. Jimmy Castro of Bristol Farms won for Most Accurate Drive.
