Florida growing regions heating up

Going into the weekend, weather around the main North American growing regions is fairly quiet. weat

The Florida warm-up discussed on Tuesday's update starts in earnest today with max temps reaching into the 80s up and down the state. In Plant City temps will peak on Sunday with a max of 87 and low of 69. Temps in Plant City will remain in the upper 80s until Friday when temps will cool off into the 70s once again.

Belle Glade will reach a high of 86 on Sunday with a min of 68. Belle Glade highs will remain in the 80s through at least next weekend.

Homestead will be the hottest spot in Florida this weekend as minimum temps reaches as high as 73 today with a max temp of 83. These warmer temps will continue through at least next weekend. Look for production out of this region to be strong.

The remainder of U.S., Mexico and Central American growing regions appear to be withing normal weather conditions for this time of year.
