Dole's new chopped Caesar salad kit reinvents a family favorite

Dole has responded to consumer demand by introducing a new salad kit that brings together two of the most popular salad kit combinations — Caesar and chopped. Caesar remains America’s No. 1 salad kit flavor, and Dole chopped salad kits continue to have strong acceptance into household meal occasions. dolecho

The new Dole chopped Caesar salad kit delivers layers of crunch and flavor that define the company’s restaurant-style chopped salads, while providing a new twist on a family favorite. Dole is redefining a traditional Caesar with a unique and craveable salad experience — crispy Quinoa, crumbled garlic bread crouton crumbles, ground black pepper, shredded parmesan cheese, bite-sized Romaine and Dole’s signature Caesar dressing.

“As a leading salad kit brand, Dole is pleased to introduce a new salad kit developed specifically to meet consumers’ salad kit preferences for Caesar and chopped salads,” Barbara Dan, Dole’s senior vice president of innovation, said in a press release. “One of the top-performing new products in Dole’s consumer taste tests, the Dole chopped Caesar salad kit redefines a family favorite into a craveable chopped salad that delivers layers of Caesar flavor and crunch in every bite.”

This new salad kit will arrive in supermarkets nationwide by mid-August, in time for late-summer entertaining and meal-planning, for the suggested retail price of $3.99. It offers retail produce managers the opportunity to expand their Dole chopped salad kit set. The Dole chopped Caesar salad kit joins Dole’s seven other popular chopped salad kits and is available in the refrigerated packaged salad section adjacent to salads.
