Ready Pac to showcase innovation at PMA Fresh Summit

Fresh-cut produce and fresh foods marketer Ready Pac is putting the final touches on preparation for its participation at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit in Anaheim, CA, Oct. 26-28. The company will feature several recent new product innovations and will unveil a new design for its exhibit booth (No. 1502). The new design focuses on fresh innovations and aligns with Ready Pac’s brand image and the new look and feel of Ready Pac’s website and social media marketing.

Ready Pac recently introduced a new line of Disney-themed Ready Pac Cool Cuts salads and mini-meals designed for elementary and middle school children. The line features four salad items and four mini-meals that include fresh produce, tasty proteins, nutritious items and an element of fun. All of the items meet Disney’s strict nutritional guidelines while appealing to kids through the Disney characters and fun factors, such as alphabet pretzels, fun cheese shapes, stickers and temporary tattoos. 

This past summer, Ready Pac also launched three new single-serve Ready Pac Bistro Organic salads. The salads, which are packaged in a convenient bowl and include dressings and a fork for on-the-go convenience, extend the company’s popular bowl salad line to the burgeoning organics market. The recipes for this line appeal to the culinary adventurer and include three vegetarian items: orange ginger tofu, zesty harvest grains and honey mustard spinach.

Fresh fruit yogurt parfaits are another Ready Pac innovation that will be featured at PMA. The packaging for this line is a finalist for PMA’s Impact Packaging Awards, along with the packaging for the Disney-themed Ready Pac Cool Cuts salads and mini-meals. PMA Impact Packaging Award winners will be announced on Saturday, Oct. 27 during the Breakfast General Session.

“Passionate attention to design functionality and aesthetic appeal are two of the cornerstones of Ready Pac new product development,” said Ms. Simpson. “We’ve taken a similar approach to a redesign of the company website and social media launch this year, and I’m very proud that we have quickly achieved very high levels of consumer engagement on these platforms.”

To celebrate that achievement, Ready Pac plans to use the new design of readypac.com and the company’s Facebook and Twitter pages to refresh the graphics of its trade show booth, and will unveil this design at PMA Fresh Summit. Visitors to booth No. 1502 will be treated to samples of Ready Pac innovations, including fresh fruit parfaits, Organic Ready Pac Bistro Bowls and the Disney-themed salads.
