FPFC holds membership luncheon

12-CONNIE---1CERRITOS, CA -- More than 200 produce professionals gathered for the Fresh Produce & Floral Council's membership luncheon June 19, here, at the Sheraton Cerritos Hotel.

Caitlin Tierney, director of produce and floral at 99 Cents Only Stores, served as the emcee, while Michael Perlish, vice president of the Gap Partnership, led the audience in learning about "The Art & Science of Negotiation."

The next big event on the horizon for the FPFC is the annual FPFC Expo, which will be held July 16 at the Disneyland Hotel. Hundreds of exhibitors and attendees from the entire western U.S. will come together to showcase the latest product innovations and preview the most dynamic consumer trends.

The keynote speaker for this year's Expo is former NFL wide receiver Hines Ward, MVP of Super Bowl XL.
