Nogales convention celebrates 50th anniversary

Cathy-Burns-Lance-JTUBAC, AZ — The 50th Nogales Produce Convention and Golf Tournament was held Nov. 1-3 at the Tubac Golf Resort & Spa. Lance Jungmeyer, president of the Fresh Produce Association of the Americas, said during the event that he expected the final attendance count to exceed 700.

Rosie Cornelius was named the Pillar of the FPAA at the closing gala dinner on Nov. 2. Cornelius recently became allied with MAS Melons & Grapes LLC.
