FPFC visits The Course at Wente Vineyards

With acres and acres of grapevines on the horizon, about 100 golfers teed off Friday, May 3 in Livermore, CA, at the 8th annual Northern California Golf Tournament of the Fresh Produce & Floral Council.fpfc-3371Jennifer Pelayo of Advantage Sales & Marketing with Carissa Mace of the FPFC.

The Course at Wente Vineyards, which was designed by Australian golf legend Greg Norman, served as the venue for the all-day event. The scramble format, which began at 11 a.m., was preceded by an informal breakfast and was followed by an awards banquet at the end of the day.

The foursome of Brian Arbini of Fresh Express, Greg Corrigan of Raley's Supermarkets, Alan Ecker of Sun-Rype and Brad Raffanti of Edge Sales & Marketing won the tournament.

Other winners included Kristyn Lawson of Yucatan Foods/Cabo Fresh for closest to the pin-women's division, and Bruce Britt of InterLink Marketing Group for closest to the pin-men's division.

Cindy Stanford of Edge Sales & Marketing had the longest drive for the women, while Daniel Bell of Grocery Outlet achieved that honor for the men
