New hire strengthens Seven Seas' California exports

Seven Seas, a grower, shipper and importer/exporter of a variety of produce grown in the United States, South America, South Africa, Mexico and the Caribbean, has added Steve Kim as an account manager in its Visalia, CA, office. Kim brings nine years of perishable logistics and Asia market trading experience to the Seven Seas team.Steve-Kim

Kim, born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised in Salinas, CA, was first introduced to the produce industry during his time of service in the U.S. Air Force serving as a foodservice warehouse manager. Following that, he was a Quizno's Sub Sandwich franchise owner before making the jump into perishable logistics. Throughout his career Kim has continued to leverage his connections and expand his reach in the export realm.

"As we continue to grow our global presence, we know our team will be instrumental in our success. Steve possesses all the experience and qualities needed to thrive in his new role with Seven Seas, developing and growing our presence in Asia and the Middle East," said Brent Scattini, vice president/West Coast for Seven Seas.

"I look forward to contributing to the growth initiatives at Seven Seas and this dynamic industry," said Kim.
