Kingston Fresh names new sales manager

Kingston Fresh has promoted Christie Sommers to the position of sales manager for the company's Idaho Falls, ID, sales office. Sommers has been with Kingston for over 16 years and most recently held the title of senior key account manager.

In addition, Kingston has announced the hiring of Barbara Espinosa to the newly created position of inventory control manager. christie sommersChristie SommersEspinosa, who has held similar positions with Frontera Produce and Legends Produce East prior to joining the Kingston team, will work from the company's South Florida sales office.

"In order for us to sustain the growth we are experiencing, it is critical that we recruit and retain the best talent," Ken Nabal, president of Kingston, said in a press release. "However, Kingston maintains a strong commitment to also train and develop leadership from within the organization. The addition of Barbara and the promotion of Christie will allow Kingston to continue exceeding our customers' expectations and add strength to an already talented team of seasoned produce professionals."
