Church Bros. has named Brian Jameson as vice president of agriculture operations, hired a new sales assistant and promoted another employee to the role of purchasing manager.
Jameson, a California State University-Chico graduate, will manage the replenishment and scheduling activities for Church Bros.’ processing partner True Leaf Farms and help manage the strategic sourcing strategy for the company.
In addition, Jamesonhas overseen the consolidation of Church Bros. and True Leaf material management, which has resulted in substantial cost, quality and service improvements for both companies. Jameson’s industry experience includes managing supply chain for Fresh Express, Dole and Ready Pac.
Jameson has appointed Aimee Cannon as purchasing manager for both Church Bros.and True Leaf Farms. Cannon will be managing all aspects of inventory for the plant and field. She has been with Church Bros. since 2005 and has many years of experience in inventory handling and an accounting degree.
Additionally, Church Bros. has hired Michelle Hackett as sales assistant. She will be working on the sales desk, focusing mainly on the assigned accounts and reports to Jeff Church.
Hackett grew up in the Salinas Valley and attended Saint Mary’s College of California and graduated with a degree in business and art history. While getting her degree, Hackett spent time as an intern, gaining experience in sales and marketing with a local produce company.
After graduating she spent a year in a management program for a food broker in Pleasanton, CA. Hackett had a strong desire return to the produce business and is excited to continue her career with the Church Bros. team.
