IFE 2017 slated for Chicago June 13-15

The International Floriculture Exposition, the floral industry’s business-to-business trade show that unites mass-market retail buyers, florists, suppliers and other industry professionals, will gather at McCormick Place in Chicago June 13-15. With over 60,000 square feet of floral exhibits and more than 225 vendors featuring anything a floral category buyer might need for their department from cut flowers and potted plants to giftware and accessories, the expo attracts VPs, category managers, and other mass-market retailers looking to source product, according to a news release.

IRON-DESIGNER-1Pieter Landman from Blooming Vision BV with Adam Havrilla from Artistic Blooms Chicago, IFE’s 2016 Iron Designer Contest winner, and Jacob McCall, quality assurance inspector at FTD Inc. in Miami.The floral education program includes the latest trends in floriculture with topics such as merchandising trends, sustainability and eco-labeling, pricing analysis and cost-savings, and more. Multiple presentations developed by top industry leaders will provide attendees with ideas, tips and industry insights to take back to their businesses. The full day of education includes a State of the Industry session and culminates with the Toast to the Industry Reception.
