Duda Farm Fresh Foods brings Super Sweet Corn, value-added celery and radish lines to Viva Fresh

Duda Farm Fresh Foods’ Regional Sales Manager Bob Sloate, and Account Manager Bert Barnes, will represent the Oviedo, FL-based company at the Viva Fresh Produce Expo in San Antonio, TX, on April 5-7.

“Duda Farm Fresh Foods will be at Booth No. 112,” said Nichole Towell,  marketing development manager. “Our team will be featuring our value-added celery and radish lines, as well as our Super Sweet Corn with its newly designed and first to be introduced 100-percent recyclable packaging with its new fiber board tray packs.”

Dandy-Super-Sweet-Corn-Tray Spring The company launched the new corn packaging at the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure in early March, which garnered strong positive response. The packaging is in keeping with Duda’s well-known reputation as innovators in the convenient snacking and meal solution category.

In addition to the company’s expansive product line, the sixth-generation family farm makes pre-cut, pre-shucked corn available year-round with its Super Sweet Corn product line. Shoppers love that the prep time for corn is cut in half, so they can invest more time with family and friends.

“While we have been growing corn for more than 40 years, we saw an opportunity to help consumers with busy lifestyles,” said Dan Duda, president of Duda Farm Fresh Foods. “By offering a convenience product line, we hope to help people prep fresh, sweet corn more frequently in their homes.”

To ensure the brand is able to package sweet corn fresh to order in a variety of options year-round, Duda grows corn in Georgia, Florida and Michigan without the use of genetically modified seeds. The brand offers seasonal recipes on the bottom of the recyclable trays and year-round consumer promotions to provide recipe inspiration.

“We invite visitors to the Viva Fresh Expo to find out more about Duda’s product line,” said Towell. “More information for retailers on how to offer Super Sweet Corn to customers this spring is available at www.dudafresh.com.”
