Duda Farm Fresh Foods Inc., headquartered in Oviedo, FL, will exhibit at the 2013 Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure Retail & Foodservice Conference & Expo on Feb. 28-March 2 at the Caribe Royale Resort & Conference Center in Orlando, FL.

“We will continue to showcase our ever-expanding line of convenience items, which are tailored for consumers who are living life on the go,” said Nichole Towell, director of marketing for the company. “From citrus to vegetable items, Duda Farm Fresh Foods will present products at the expo that directly meet the needs of today’s consumers. And these value-added products offer retailers an opportunity to increase their revenue.”

The expo day of Southern Exposure is March 2.

Duda Farm Fresh Foods’ popular line includes its new four-count “Grab N’ Go” Mandarin orange package, which is offered along with its new display bins.

The company also supports the “Fresh from Florida” promotional initiative by labeling its “Dandy” brand leaf lettuce, romaine, green leaf, red leaf, cilantro and bok choy with the logo. It also offers “Fresh from Florida” corn, celery and radish products.

“We also offer ‘Fresh from Florida’ citrus,” said Ms. Towell. “Duda Farm Fresh Foods will continue to have red grapefruit through March, honey tangerines through March and Valencia oranges through June.”

The company will have strong representation at booth number 901 at Southern Exposure. Duda Farm Fresh Foods’ staff members who will be in attendance to meet and greet with customers include: Jason Bedsole, eastern sales manager; John Alderman, senior account manager; Brian Tipple, account manager; Scott Wilkins, account manager; Christina Monnin, account manager; Mark Bassetti, senior vice president of customer development; Tim Ross, regional sales manager and Paul Huckabay, western citrus sales manager.

“Duda Farm Fresh Foods has been a member of SPC since its inception,” said Ms. Towell. “We have exhibited at Southern Exposure for over seven years. Dan Duda, chief operating officer for our company, is an active member of the Southeast Produce Council Advisory Board.

“Duda’s home base is located in Oviedo, FL, and so the business has a deep rooted connection with the land and people in the Southeast,” she continued. “We look forward to this show each year in large part to show our ongoing support for our home state.”

Duda Farm Fresh Foods, she added, is a silver level sponsor of the Southeast Produce Council, sponsoring both Southern Exposure and the organization’s fall conference.

“Duda Farm Fresh Foods is pleased to have been named a Produce for Better Health fresh produce industry ‘Role Model’ for a third consecutive year,” Ms. Towell added. “This honor is something that we are very proud to receive as a grower and shipper of farm fresh products.”
